We should match up well. Evers would be the 4th, or 5th best QB in the PAC12.

Great article. Very insightful

I'm glad I got a subscription. It was well worth the money

I'm trying to envision DT T'Vondre Sweat, at 6'4 362, trying to match the quickness of Husky center Parker Brailsford, at 6'2 275. We're going to kill him. :)

I like your bravado, but that is going to be a huge ask for Parker, I think the more important match up is the fact that UW's two guards are actually more like tackles, Kalepo at 6'6" 327 and Buelow at 6'8" 313 they match up much better than Parker does. watching tape of Sweat, he has amazing strength and a good swipe to shuck lighter guys to the side. I just don't know that he can do that to our big athletic guards.

I do like UW's chances, a whole month of reading how they the #2 team in the land are yet again an under-Dawg.

a whole month for Tui, DJ, Asa, KamFab, Penix, and J-mac to get truly healthy we should be in for a real treat.

Sweat will require double teams here & there and trust Huff & crew know this. When Murphy gets home it’s often due to extra attention Sweat demands. This game will be decided in trenches and who schemes the best QB protection. I like our chances.

The one thing that could be concerning here is Kwiatkowski mixing in some some double a gap blitzes to try to overload our interior o-line based on seeing other teams like ASU have success doing it. Also we continue to inconsistently use the middle of the field with passing routes so theres less risk doing it.

Arizona State wrecked our guards. DT Dashaun Mallory, at only 6'1 275, was way too quick. That's the kind of player I'm worried about. As part of a cohesive O-line, I think Kalepo and Buelow will hold up pretty well against a massive guy like Sweat.

Haha. It will definitely need to be a team effort

Sorry everyone, I can't help it. I'm a die-hard Husky fan but... I love T'Vondre Sweat. He's basically two of me and I'm just in awe of him. Sure, I want him to have a very bad day against us, but after that I'm hoping somehow he winds up with the Seahawks.

I was really impressed with what the Dawgs were able to do on the ground in the latter part of the season - never more so than against the Ducks.. But my goodness if the Huskies are able to run against Texas? I'll be delirious. I also think we'll win.
