Thanks for the rundown. It’s been hard to keep track of all the kids who’ve committed in the past 4 days.

Any thoughts about why no Washington kids. It doesn’t seem like many (if any) were part of the big June visit festival, and it doesn’t seem like we’re offering many in-state kids either.

My highly suspect prospect rankings after watching tape: (1) Khmori House, Edge, 6'1 205, was the most impressive. Runs around and through blockers with ease, great burst to the target, hits with a vengeance. His 3-star rating looks like a misprint. (2) Jason Robinson, WR, 5'11 160, dynamic route runner, very quick, wildly elusive after the catch. (3) Dermaricus Davis, QB, 6'4 190, flexible body and great, fluid arm let him throw dimes off platform. Average runner. Doesn't set his feet on a lot of throws, even when he has time. (4) Justice Williams, WR, 6'4 195, looks big, strong, fluid and fast. (5) Omar Khan, DL, 6'4 275, strong, quick, aggressive, penetrates easily, but does it all standing straight up. :) Probably talented enough to succeed without fundamentals -- in high school. (6) Decker Degraaf, TE, 6'4 230, looks solid but doesn't jump off the tape. (7) Ratumana Bulabalavu, DL, 6'4 260, has ridiculous HS sack numbers, but his talent isn't obvious on tape. Maybe I'm missing something. (8) Noah Carter, Edge, 6'3 225, looks the part, good natural movement, but doesn't show a lot of quickness.

Perhaps it’s just me, but I’m kinda “meh” on the commitments. Stars aren’t everything, but usually they count for something. We’re getting a lot of undersized players that are 3 stars. I’d like to see more- a lot more - higher rated players

I'm not Meh on them, as I don't put as much stock in star ratings as some others do. Don't get me wrong, as I know star ratings are a decent predictor, but there are all kinds of misses and under rating of players. What a coach rates a player and what someone working for 247 or ESPN rates them can be wildly different.

However, there are lots of big time players that do not appear to be giving us as much consideration as other programs. Are those programs recruiting based on star ratings from recruiting services? Are those players not being recruited very hard by the UW staff? Are those players not sure if 11-2 can be sustained by UW? Is this an outcome of not having a secure future in an elite conference? So many questions I don't know that we can answer.
