Thank you so much Christian for another wonderful read. It's easy to write about the general (Penix) and his Colonel's (WRs). But I just love the sharpshooters that don't get much attention.

I don't sign up for anything, but your articles are phenomenal, and again... I'll always be a subscriber!!
Love that the coaches have the backs of their players. It is revealed time and again throughout the pre and post game interviews. Great work, Christian.
Banks looked really good. Not surprised they didn't start him this week though. Don't want to ruin Jackson's confidence plus he could have just had a no so good game. Great knowing we got depth again though.
I thought Coach Inge said it perfectly, even though his meaning was slightly veiled, when asked if he'd thought about starting Banks in place of EJ this week: "We're going to need everybody." I think he meant exactly what you said - if he's so quick to do that, he risks losing all the good things that have been developing in young Jackson. Starting EJ again helps everyone in the room feel more comfortable that they can learn from their mistakes, and come back next week to do better.
We fans would pull starters all the time and create chaos, so in that vein count me among the "Banks is 1st team" votes. On a similar note, Nixon is #1 TB , and Cuervas deserves to move up to 2nd after Westover.

Am I correct in remembering how late he was as an offer? And what a great interview he was after accepting? Same kid? Great kid.
