Remember when we heard back in 2022 that some guy named Michael Penix who'd previously played for Indiana was transferring to UW to compete for the quarterback job, and many of us said "Who? Huh."
Not me. I watched a number of his IU games including the Penn State game which he starred in and scored the winning TD. He was a known commodity to some of us although never in my wildest dreams did I think he'd turn out as good as he did.
Jabbar Muhammad- curious why he didn't go pro. It's not like he's going to get taller or faster, his coverage skills were elite, what is another year in college going to do for him? Maybe he's getting nfl money at U0?
He has a (better) chance to play for another championship and get paid as well (or more?) because of his college pedigree. He's a great college CB. As a Pro there's ?s about his height. If he doesn't get injured and help the Duck dominate in the BIG. His draft stock will rise and he got paid for it.
That's why I always snicker when Oregon fans say they won the offseason. If anything, I have learned over the last eight seasons that it's not necessarily whether you win the offseason, but what you do with the players that you get.
Man Petersen was on a role recruiting wise at the end. Have always wondered what would have happened if he could have lasted two more years and kept the recruiting going. It seems like he hated recruiting but he was doing well
Still blows my mind that Ulufoshio and Westover were walk ons. This wouldn’t have been a 14 win season without them
Reading this makes me even happier that Paopao is back in Seattle
So why did Jimmy Lake fire Paopao when he took over? Just curious...
😻 Jalen McMillan’s offensive interception vs. Oregon 2022… Ahhhh…. 😻
Congrats again on the site. Hoping you can leverage the big10 fanaticism into some Midwest subscribers

What a revelation. ;-)

Wonder if those Tennessee coaches had any regrets over that lol.
ha, yes--

I like the idea that Petersen's OKG's were a perfect match for DeBoer's culture. Synergy!
I love Roger's comments related to selective offering vs volume offering.
Four 4 Stars, seven 3 stars, and 2 not rated pretty much says it all. Hard to say, if so much under rated talent will ever win so much again.

Did he hate recruiting? Or Social Media and the nattering?
