I watched a lot of USC games and - as much of a magician as Caleb W could be - I think he relied heavily on having superb talent at WR to correct for errant passes. He'll get that with Odunze, but expect Williams to take a lot of lumps before he levels up to the pro game.
Chicago added a few quality WR’s in the off season because they knew they were getting Williams. I don’t know how they’ll do, but I know it’ll be interesting, and I’m obviously rooting for Rome.
I really wish he would have stayed, but in today's CFB world I get this too. Wise? Too early to tell. But I think both Davis and the Husky coaches are motivated to make the farewell fond, because everything changes and this kid could very easily be right back here in a year or two.
Demond Williams would send anyone into the portal. Davis made the right move. I’m a little concerned that Demond may make it difficult for UW to recruit a top QB for the next couple of years.
Fixed a typo in the final thought — it was, of course, 1998, not 1988.
Odunze catching passes from Williams… that’s a dangerous combo…

And on a crappy but not surprising note Demaricus Davis jumped into the portal.

Called it
Yup. Don't get it unless he think he will start.

I’m very happy that Jack Westover signed with the Hawks as an undrafted free agent. Ryan Grubb, the Hawks’ new OC, knows what Jack can do.
