I’m officially worried about McMillian. He was hurt on Sept 16 and basically hasn’t played since. I’d say rest him until November. Thank goodness for Polk.
I think OSU will be tougher than USC. USC's offensive line isn't as good as last year's version and was thoroughly exposed in the Notre Dame game. On the other hand, OSU's OL is one of the best in the Pac-12. Defensively, I think OSU is also much better than USC.
Additionally, USC's offense gets to face the meat tenderizer that is Utah's defense before the Husky game, while UW gets the pleasure the week after the USC game.
Lastly, the rumors are starting to ramp up that Riley is putting out feelers for NFL job offers (especially with whichever team drafts Williams). Players hear this and it is disspiriting. Combine that with the slim prospect of Williams returning to USC next season, and I think USC will be presented with the prospects of a lost current season (if Utah can duplicate last week's offensive output) and a dim future as they move to the B1G. Realistically, I don't see USC beating either UW or UO and I think both Utah & UCLA have decent shots to upset them.
Great summary, Christian! My thoughts: (1) Odunze's improvement on 50-50 balls is eye-popping. (2) In the spring scrimmage two years ago, it felt like nobody was getting open for Dylan Morris. But with Penix, somebody was always open. His superior, elite vision jumped off the screen. (3) I think we'll beat USC convincingly. Despite the iconic uniforms, legendary stadium, and great QB, they look fatally flawed. (4) I met Troy Taylor when he was a 19-year-old QB at Cal. Good guy. So happy for his big win vs Colorado.
Many thanks! So many stats. Ultimately it’s W v L that matters and no team will be #1 in ALL stat categories. Kick drifts right, result: W. All that matters!
Great season for the PAC-12, which makes it even more heartbreaking and enraging that Fox and ESPN killed the PAC-12. Funk them both.
Imagine what the D would be like with Latu here. Sure would like to smack that Dr upside the head.
Elijah Jackson.. ugh sure hope he's learning for rest of year and into next year.
Debate whether want to avoid oregon in championship game or play them so we can be the team to knock them out of the playoffs.

Amen. Polk is playing lights out this season. He catches everything.
I’m starting to wonder if McMillan will now be a candidate for red shirting this season instead of Giles Jackson

"...the meat tenderizer that is Utah's defense..." Love that!

It's close, but not quite:
Oregon Strength of Record: 17th
Oregon State Strength of Record: 23rd
SOR is a very accurate predictor of who makes the playoff, and UW is third right now.
Help me understand how Martinez is the #1 rusher in the league but #2 behind Ott? Different criteria?
“Leading rusher” generally refers to total rushing yards. Ott leads in yards per game.
