All nine of UW's 2022 high-school signees are still with the program, and many are getting a long look from the coaching staff during spring practices.
Due to an editing error, the Tristan Dunn section was accidentally omitted. It's in there now, but folks who read via email are probably wondering what the heck happened. Sorry!
It's a really interesting contrast with what's happened to the 2021 class. Obviously an unfair comparison if you're going to be critical - apples to oranges in so many ways because the '21 class suffered critical injuries at the top, and is of course a year older as well. But at least at this early date I get the feeling that the KDB crew did a pretty great job of finding pieces that fit both on and off the field, and more than their fair share of hidden gems.
When the Huskies sign a player, I go to Hudl and watch their high school tape. Tristan Dunn put a big smile on my face. Long, tall, athletic thumper with great instincts who seems to love football. Hope he plays a lot.
How is Brailsford looking physically out there? I know he was on the lighter side when he arrived on campus, so I'm curious to see how he handles the physicality with the hogs.
How about a series on the S&C program including details on what they do for lifts, flexibility, speed and nutrition training. I'm curious how much weight training is done in-season? I know they are big believers in Power Lifting and interested in the S&C staff's opinion on some programs getting rid of dead lifting because of the lower back injury risk!
