The Huskies are hosting several crucial recruiting targets.

10 names to know — one at each position — ahead of Washington's Junior Day

If Washington's 2027 recruiting class is to match or exceed what it accomplished in 2026 — the class ranked 13th nationally, UW's highest finish in the modern era — it must include several of the players scheduled to visit Seattle this weekend.

At present, I can confirm the list of attendees for Washington's "Dawghouse Weekend" (i.e. Junior Day) stands at about 30, including five of the seven prospects currently committed to UW.

On the same weekend last year, nine of the uncommitted attendees eventually wound up signing with the Huskies, including four-star prospects like edge rusher Derek Colman-Brusa, tailback Brian Bonner, receiver Mason James, cornerback Jeron Jones and linebacker Ramzak Fruean.

Though these are unofficial visits, the first full weekend in March has become a vital date on Washington's recruiting calendar. Several of the prospects visiting this weekend also have official visits scheduled for the weekends of May 29, June 5 or June 19, which are shaping up to be major recruiting events, as well.

With that in mind, here are 10 names to know — one at each position — from Saturday and Sunday's visitor list. These lists are always fluid, meaning players might cancel — and others might join the invite list — at any point this week. I'll update the web version if that happens.
