In succession, two of Washington’s top offensive line targets announced commitments to the Huskies on the Wednesday afternoon Rivals Summer Signing Day livestream.

Three-star Mesa (Ariz.) Mountain View prospect Tye Kennedy went first. Seated next to his father, UW legend Lincoln Kennedy, Tye committed to his dad’s alma mater over finalists Utah, Michigan and Arizona State.

Then, four-star Puyallup High prospect Gecova Doyal navigated a shaky wireless connection to reveal he will stay home to play for Washington, choosing the Huskies over Oregon, UCLA and Utah.

Doyal and Kennedy each made their official visits to Washington on the weekend of June 19, and are now the 22nd and 23rd players to commit in the Huskies’ 2027 recruiting class.
