With conference play beginning in earnest this weekend, it’s time to reintroduce our weekly Big Ten picks.
I finished last year’s slate with a final record of 31-43-1 against the spread — perhaps my worst showing ever, so it’s little consolation that I went 61-15 picking games straight up. That was after a .500 showing (44-44-1) against the spread in 2024.
Anyway, I'll pick every game involving a Big Ten team for the rest of the season. There are 10 games this week — eight of the conference variety — beginning Friday night and ending with Washington's 8 p.m. Saturday game against Minnesota.
