SEATTLE — Surely, you’re not all that interested in entertaining any College Football Playoff scenario that doesn’t involve the Washington Huskies winning their Pac-12 championship game rematch against the Oregon Ducks on Friday.

But it’s at least worth exploring whether UW — up to No. 3 in Tuesday’s CFP rankings update — could qualify for the four-team field even if it loses.
