I'm still high off the win, especially being there. What an experience!
Can't believe the stat of 170yds before contact?! There's so much to extrapolate from that piece of data, I don't know where to begin, other than we kicked some ass, pulled out a W and sent USC to the realm of the unranked!
One of those moments that assures you made the correct choice earlier in life.
I'm sure after just watching our offense last year, it's easy to feel like you made the right choice and transferring to UDub, but after a game like that and that moment, soaking it all in. He must really feel proud of himself for making the correct decision.
I love a back who's exceedingly good at finding creases, and exceedingly good at punishing anyone who tries to narrow the crease. Like everyone, I've been very impressed with the creativity, flexibility and finesse of the DeBoer/Grubb offense, but now we also have a bulldozer. We're in perfect balance.
Also is ability to make corrections mid game. The broadcast crew pointed out a run where he wasn't patient enough to the outside and probably could have had a touchdown. Then on that same drive the same run play was called and he bounced it outside and did score a touchdown showing the patience he didn't show earlier
Just curious for Christian or anyone who was at the LA Coliseum last Saturday.
About how many folks did UW have at the game? The stadium's capacity is listed at 77,500 and it sounded on TV like there were quite a few Husky fans there
Hard to say numerically but UW fans were very present and vocal in my section high above the west end zone. Felt like we were outcheering the majority USC fans in the section. We had a great view of the whole stadium and there was a good amount of purple all around, and especially the one side. But not only there. It was really fun and our fans were spirited...
The group in the southeast corner was actually pretty loud. I was behind the SC bench (sort of) at about the 10 yard line, and they came across to me as very vocal.
I was at the UW-UO game and guesstimating the Ducks had maybe 7-10k among the ~70k?
Again, the Husky contingent sounded fairly loud on TV at times. Around 10k or maybe even a little more? There are obviously quite a few UW alumns/fans in SoCal and it's not like LA is a tough flight from SeaTac

We love you #7

This is a key puzzle piece in order to compete for a national championship. Joyous.

I thought this tweet from Troy Dannen was pretty representative. Definitely a strong visitor's section.
