I would be curious to hear why Newton and Adams rarely play. I know Newton has had the multiple knee surgeries, but I would think if he was incapable of competing at this level anymore that they would have medically retired him. Adams seemed to finally get healthy and break through early in the season, and DeBoer had some nice things to say about him. Then he disappeared again.
As much as we love DJ’s running style, I think his value is higher in pass protection. He makes the proper reads and blocks rampaging linebackers effectively. Rare dual talent.
Would have to cut off Dillon's leg to keep him out of the game. Who is it that keeps asking Deboer about his contract? Seriously it's 2 days till the game and it's obvious there is NOTHING going to happen until AFTER the season.
Hopefully DJ is good to go. Will be interesting to see which of the other RBs get pressed into action if he’s limited.
On a related note... saw some alarming reports on social media regarding the reason for Tybo Rogers’ suspension earlier this season. Any word on that? Because if what’s been said is true, I don’t think he should be wearing a Husky uniform, much less playing a critical role in a national championship game.
I would not look at the social media reports or redit forums. I would look at the Coaching Staff meaning: taken everything we have seen and heard about the leadership of this program, do you believe they would tolerate a player guilty of those accusations? But also remember innocent until proven guilty. As well as the old saying, a lie has travelled around the world before the truth gets out of bed.
I saw a one thing but didnt look to much into it. If what I read happened I would assume the coaches did everything necessary to make sure they dont have a bad person on the team. He was out for many games.
Thanks for stepping up the details in your continuing coverage at this time when our interest and attention is high just before the Natty.
