Washington’s new football coach arrived in Seattle on Sunday night via private jet. He met with the team shortly after. On Monday morning, he met with UW president Ana Mari Cauce.

Jedd Fisch’s next appointment?

That was with Andrew Minear and Pete Shimer. Minear is executive director of Montlake Futures, Washington’s independent donor collective focused on compensating UW athletes in exchange for use of their name, image and likeness. Shimer, a former UW men’s basketball player and now the chief operating officer for Deloitte, is one of the collective’s founding advisors.

Minear said he’s been in regular communication with Fisch since.

It’s a new world, isn’t it?
