I was driving while listening and had to pull over to set you straight on the Ducks, Christian.
It's not the old vs new success.
It's the breathless announcements all the time how they are the greatest at everything especially winning off season natty. Then never really following through with the goods.
It's the on field shenanigans whether that be bending the rulebook backwards to find a loop hole or forgetting exactly which leg it was that hurt when going down on the field.
And it used to be the obnoxiousness of their fans, but I would say in general now, there are more sane Duck fans, and sadly more unpleasant/unreasonable Husky fans, so I think we're even there now.
EDIT: Sorry I guess this really touched a nerve cuz I just remembered the other thing - beating them THREE straight times in three different venues, including their place, and have them say, "oh, well, if we played again, the Ducks would win for sure".
