I don’t want it to be Oregon for a very different reason. We were up 11 in the second half, with the ball. Yeah it came down to the end and Oregon could have won with some breaks, but with one of those 3 and outs ending in a long TD drive instead, and it’s a blowout.
We want the national championship, you can’t be afraid of a team you already beat.
The reason I don’t want the ducks is because I want the Ducks to lose every game they play. Always. Regardless of the circumstances. If we play the Ducks again, it means I’ll have to be disappointed 6 more times this year.
I disagree with Danny - I don't want the Ducks again if the Huskies get to the P12 championship game. For the simple reason that I think the Ducks have the best chance of winning, and I want the Huskies to be the final and forever P12 champions.
I don't buy the online narrative at all that the Ducks dominated the game except for a few plays. The Huskies had a number of high leverage plays/scenarios not go their way too. And there was a very real chance for the Huskies to break the game open in a way that would have forced Nix to start pushing the ball more aggressively, and I think that would have be to the Huskies' advantage. But they're still a very good and complete team, vs all other potential alternate opponents who have at least one flawed area. So i'd rather have that shot against someone else.
