The home and away with Tennessee has vanished from the future Husky schedule list while other games in those years are still showing. I assume it is gone? If Tennessee cancelled it shame on them. If we cancelled it shame on us and if we cancelled it to schedule the Cougs again or some Big Sky or Mountain West team double shame on us.

It seems like the team is a bit disconnected from not only the fanbase and the media, particularly after a couple tough losses this year. Washington had historic levels of turnover between players, coaching staff, and athletic department personnel. I’m wondering how much we should expect going forward? Fisch talks about “family” when he refers to his coaching staff, is it fair to assume, for the most part, the bleeding will stop?
More specifically, the 2026 season has a relatively easy Big10 schedule and many of the younger players will have had time to take leadership roles. Should we expect Steve Belichick to be taking an NFL job before then? How likely is Brennan Carroll for head coaching job somewhere? Please dear god can we find a new special teams coordinator?
Christian, I have another one for you. We heard so much about Courtney Morgan when he was here and his role of GM (for lack of a better word) at UW. Does UW have anyone in that position now under Coach Fisch and if so who is it? Thanks.
How important is it that the team make a bowl game this year from a player development standpoint (e.g., extra bowl practices), recruiting, and program building perspective?
In the past, I know coaches have mentioned that the extra bowl practices are beneficial as you develop your team, but with 35+ (recruits + transfers) coming in next year, perhaps bowl practices are not as important as they once were.
This week Coach Fisch said they need to bring in a "massive amount of talent" in the off season. Considering the transfer portal, how might Jedd leverage his resources and network as the UW football coach to attract players from other schools through the portal and secure NIL deals for them? Is the Arizona pipeline tapped out?
