I feel like a great use of the subscriber chat feature next season would be brainstorming local delicacies for Christian’s away-game menus.

Went to the Iowa game and stayed in Cedar Rapids. We visited the Field of Dreams site and toured Iowa's campus. the weather was great, the people could not have been nicer. We are thinking about Wisconsin this year but it is a November game!!

Iowa fans were a joy. As we were leaving, many of them thanked us for visiting...a few even apologized for the blowout and assured me Iowa doesn't usually blow teams out!

When you come to SoCal for the SC game in 2026, I'll get you into the Associates Picnic on campus Christian. You can have all the free food and drinks you want. It's an easy ask, since I don't have to pay for it. What are in-laws for anyway.

Next time in Iowa City. Jethro’s bar bq on east side of that main road from the interstate to campus will meet your being in mid west beef and pork country requirements.

I had George’s recommended to me, but we didn’t make it over there. That’s the thing about these college towns — it’s hard to get a good hotel rate anywhere near the stadium, so you end up spending less time in the town itself.

Agreed on both points. was ridiculous to pay $250 for a room at best western. Thanks for the rec.
