I agree with you Christian, that they’re probably in the game they deserve. The program is trending in the right direction. It’d be fun to see them finish with a win.
I don’t get the people who complain about too many bowl games like it’s some kind of insult aimed at them or something.
Don’t want to watch them? Fine don’t watch them. Personally I’m fine watching two 6-6 teams playing a game on a weekday afternoon while I’m off work and wrapping presents or whatever, it’s good background entertainment.
Whoa! Just got a look at Kekua Aumua's high school tape. What a stud! He's a tight end at 6'5 255, but he plays close to the ground, he's athletic and powerful, and looks like he could be a fullback. Just what we need at tight-end, a spot that lacked serious power this past season. I'm excited. He was headed to Florida but we flipped him.

I understand how we got to this playoff era of college football. But every year at this time I get nostalgic for the pre-CFP bowl season, for the smorgasbord of all varieties of crazy games going on for weeks. I never did understand the complaints about "too many bowl games!" (suddenly you don't like football?).
Anyway, I still love the non-CFP bowl games and am looking forward to watching as many as I can. I mean c'mon, it's like Christmas morning, these games are like a bunch of gifts under the tree, and the Dawgs are battling Boise St in one called the LA Bowl! Why get grumpy when there are presents to open?!!!
I'll be there. Bought my tickets through the season ticket app. Have no idea where I'm sitting until Thursday.
I'm a fan of all bowl games and the whole bowl game season. The playoffs are the most important, but I still enjoy watching all of the games from my home office TV.
I like bowl games but i do think in this era you’ll start seeing more teams do what ND did now that there are playoffs and players are paid. The math on risk/reward is different now. Lose Demond Williams for next season due to an injury in the meaningless LA Bowl and how much would UW be willing to spend in the next transfer portal to bring in a QB and save a promising season?
Thanks for all you provide for my subscription, it has been well worth it. I actually like it. Other than the date there are multiple pluses. Selfishly, as a LA resident, I get to see them play. So big plus. However, LA is the best location of any of the lower tier bowls. The weather will be sunny and 70s all week. Recruiting wise they can invite every recruit in SoCal to practice and the game. Plus a ton of families can drive to the game and home easily. Win win win. Thank you , again and Happy Holidays.
Actually no they cant. Any Fisch said and Christian repeated its a no contact time. No one can stop recruits going to the game but they cant have any interactions with recruits.
Christian: Good job: you might be the only soul in the History of the Universe to bring Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln and Mark Twain into a football story. Nice…
Army-Navy in the morning, UW game in the evening…honestly a perfect Saturday
I'll be flying in from Hawaii for the game! I always look forward to whatever bowl we are in since I can't see the team in person regularly.

Not best bowl in the world but being a Husky fan I will be watching. Anytime I can watch them I will.
When did holiday bowl get moved to Jan 2?
The lack of 8 practices is THE BIG drawback for this game. And maybe Gronk trying to break another world record.......GO DAWGS!!

I could do without the “…same field as Justin Herbert” comment🤮
Simply shocked Fisch would point out that Sofi also hosts 2 NFL teams. Shocked i say.
Oh did it hurt your feelings
Yes.

See all of you who can make it there. Go Dawgs!
For players redshirting - does the bowl affect that or can they play?
They can play. Postseason doesn’t count.

If Neuheisel gets the WSU job (see Jim Moore’s Substack) there’ll be fun stuff to chat about.
He isn't going after it or taking it. It's just that cougs wishful thinking
