Before Michael Penix Jr. and the Washington Huskies play one of the biggest games in program history, they’ve already secured Penix’s likely successor for 2024.

UW coaches prioritized Will Rogers from the start of portal season, and the Mississippi State transfer announced his commitment to the Huskies on Friday. He has one year of eligibility remaining, and should enter the winter as the favorite to win Washington’s starting QB job next season.
