SEATTLE — The air wasn’t nearly as hazy, and the sky appeared bluer. Otherwise, Day 2 of Washington Huskies training camp looked a lot like Day 1 of Washington Huskies training camp, with the focus on fundamental drill work and special teams.
The same won’t be true of the Huskies’ next practice, scheduled for Sunday morning, when we should see the first real offense vs. defense competition of camp.
And there are still a few items to discuss after taking in another two-hour session on the east practice field, including some insights from defensive coordinator Ryan Walters, linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale and edge rusher Jacob Lane.
