The Washington Huskies added another blue-chip receiver prospect to their 2027 recruiting class.
Dontay Tyson, a four-star prospect from Peoria (Ariz.) High, announced his commitment to Washington on Friday night over Texas A&M. Tyson took his official visit to UW last weekend.
Listed at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Tyson is ranked No. 325 overall in the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite. He becomes the fourth receiver to commit to UW this cycle and the third composite blue-chipper, joining Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss wideout Tre Moore, who committed earlier this week, and Sumner High wideout Braylon Pope, who committed in December. Zerek Sidney, a UW commitment from Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge, is a three-star in the composite but a four-star in 247’s rankings.
