Washington’s spring official-visit cycle continues to yield commitments.

Three-star edge rusher Chaz Gray from Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional announced his commitment to UW on Tuesday, becoming the 18th player to join the Huskies’ 2027 class.

Gray, who took his official visit to Washington the weekend of May 29, becomes the second player to commit after taking his trip; four-star Peoria (Ariz.) High receiver Dontay Tyson, who visited last weekend, was the first.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, Gray is rated the No. 438 overall prospect in the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite. He chose the Huskies over 23 other reported offers, and was at one time considering trips to Tennessee and Clemson.
