A position-by-position stability ranking with the Huskies' roster mostly set.
With most of Washington’s 2026 recruiting class enrolled in classes and at least the majority of the Huskies’ portal work behind them, it’s time to assemble our annual position stability rankings.
In assessing stability, I’m considering overall talent, experience (both returning and via the portal), depth, general expectations and health.
Let’s start with how I would score the 2025 season, based on actual results, with my February 2025 ranking for each group in parentheses (I’m including specialists now, but didn’t then):
